“Nights through dreams tell the myths forgotten by day.” Carl Jung
“The general function of dreams is to try to restore our psychological balance by producing dream material that re-establishes, in a subtle way, the total psyche equilibrium.” Carl Jung
Sleep is a state that we all experience throughout our lives. If there is disruption or interference to sleep, it can impact our quality of life in a big way. I help people understand sleep and their sleep patterns and what impacts this and implement improvement with sleep hygiene.
Carl Jung has said, “Dreams are impartial, spontaneous products of the unconscious psyche, outside the control of the will. They are pure nature; they show us unvarnished, natural truth, and therefore fitted as nothing else is to give us back an attitude that accords with our basic human nature when our consciousness has strayed too far from its foundations and run into impasse.” Dreams have been a pathway to different experiences for many people throughout their lives. I have spent time understanding the magic that can be revealed through the processing of dreams. They can be a part of memory reconstruction at some times, or the shadow revealing itself at other times. There are many things that dreams can teach us about ourselves if we can take the time to look closely. I have been trained to guide clients through dream reconstruction and have witnessed profound experience which have lead to incredible healing. I work through a Jungian lens using archetypes and somatic movement to help my clients to decode the meaning of these mysterious messages and integrate into their whole self.
